Wedding Coaching, Schedule Review, Day-of Coordination
Hope you all are feeling festive!
6 more days until Christmas people! The mistletoe is up, gifts are being wrapped and I’ve watched White Christmas about 4 times already.
Also getting me in the cheery mood was this wedding last weekend. I had the absolute honor of doing wedding management for my dear friend, Kara and her husband Michael, at the stunning Timberline Lodge.
A lil backstory - Kara and I have known each other for a decade (OMG!). We met through a mutual friend at The Bachelor viewing parties, yep you can judge all you want. Then, I would say we got close about 5 years ago.
Kara is a gem, and she deserves nothing less than a fellow gem, which leads me to Michael. It really is the sweetest thing to see Kara and Michael look at each other. You can tell they really connect on a deeper level than most humans experience.
Along with their gazing, this couple knows how to laugh - at everything! There is a lot of joy in their relationship and I so admire them for that.
On the wedding day, it was a bit of trek up that mountain, but SO worth it as you got transported to a winter wonderland full of snow, laughter, German traditions (including sawing a log, which per tradition, represents their first obstacle to overcome as a married couple) and a group ready to dance the night away.
